Finally, we have a break in the rain! March is my favorite month for learning. We have few interruptions (i.e.breaks, holidays, etc..).
I want to remind families about our policies on smartwatches (i.e. Apple, Vtech), photographs, and videotaping. Please see the excerpt from our handbook below:
Cell Phone/ Smart Watches/ Other Personal Devices: we have a no cell phone policy during school hours. Cell phones that are brought to school are to be turned off and stored in student backpacks. They may not be displayed during school hours. Any phone left on or displayed at school will be taken to the office where a parent or guardian will need to retrieve it. Students may never film another child, staff member, other personnel or parent volunteer, without his/her permission. Students may not call parents from any personal device. Students can use the school office so that school personnel is aware of the communication. The same rules apply on the bus and at any after-school program.
Reminder
We will have school at both sites, West Marin and Inverness, on April 5, 2024. We have school at Inverness School on May 24, 2024. These are make-up days for when school was closed due to weather in February.

LAST CHANCE!!! Community Survey: We want to hear from you!
The West Marin-Inverness School Site Council is evaluating our community priorities to better inform our teaching and learning efforts. We are gathering information from families/caregivers to make recommendations to the Superintendent about the strengths and areas of improvement related to teaching and learning. Survey answers from families will help us recommend important changes.
