Special Summer Edition

Happy Summer! I hope your break is off to a fabulous start. Things have been busy at West Marin School. The window and office projects are progressing nicely. It will exciting to see the school when the project is completed.
The custodial staff is working at both sites to get ready to welcome everyone back on Wednesday, August 16!
I am excited to welcome 4 new staff members to our West Marin-Inverness community, Tessa O’Connor and Vello Vannak will be joining our middle school team. Tessa will be teaching 6th grade and Vello 7th grade. Mike Runyeon will be joining us to teach physical education TK-8 and Mila Vigorito will be joining our primary team as the transitional kindergarten teacher.
The end of the year was busy and full of celebrations.
Glenda and Judy were celebrated with other Marin County educators at the Golden Bell Award Ceremony! Congratulations, Glenda and Judy!
Judy retired! We celebrated Judy and her career on June 6!
Students in PK, TK, K, and 1 celebrated the last day of school at the beach!

8th grade students presented to a group of West Marin non-profits
1st grade students put on a play at Open House
Important Dates to Remember
The office is closed from July 1-31
The office reopens on August 1
School begins on August 16
Thank you all for a great year and for sharing your student with us. I will be back in touch in August with the Welcome Back Wildcat Word! I am looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year.
