West Marin Elementary School is a 2 - 8 elementary school operating on a traditional calendar. Students are served by seven regular classroom teachers, one Spanish teacher, one Special Education teacher, one Reading Specialist and a counselor. Mission Statement
In a safe and supportive environment, students will become life-long learners. They will value and take responsibility for acquiring academic and social skills. They will also appreciate diversity in others and uniqueness in themselves as they contribute positively to their school, local and world communities.
Small class size, current instructional materials, in-school and after-school tutoring, small group intervention, afterschool homework center, awards for academic achievement, enthusiastic staff, and staff development opportunities promote a positive learning environment.
